Welcome to my cozy little Blog—a place where I unapologetically untangle my thoughts, parade my so-called wisdom, and occasionally drop nuggets of information you didn’t ask for. Insightful musings? Random ramblings? I’ll write, you decide.

New Daycare?
This summer, I may be opening a new daycare in town. We have been thinking and thinking about it. So many pros and cons... Such a stressful business and there always seems to be someone with their hand out for money...but the bottom line is... I miss it and I was DAMN good at it.
We are looking for a location, I have already done some research...thought about names, started on a web design, visited with DHS and have a realtor giving me the heads up on buildings. (So glad I worked in Advertising before cause it really comes in handy when you are opening a business.)
I have some parents that already want to enroll their kids if I do open one.... and for that I am thankful!
Now... even though it is not a DONE DEAL... the only thing that will keep me from doing it is if I just decided I don't want that stress again, or if I should get a job at the school full time. But if I do decided to open up a daycare... I will ROCK this place! People have no idea what is coming... but they will. So hold on to your kids and your staff.... it's going to be a bumpy ride! Muahahahahaha

Subbing.....
WOW! I have subbed 62 days in a 81 day semester! It doesn't feel like I have worked that much, but I have worked dang near every day! I have worked in every age classroom and for several different schools. I have jobs booked for next semester already and will be going to Mustang tomorrow for a training so I can work in that school district. I like the subbing gig. I like the freedom... I like being able not work when I choose too....even though I can't say 'no' to anyone that asks me to work. I was suppose to work one day this week and ended up working 4 and had to turn down the 5th cause I have to go to training! I will be sad when I can't work for Yukon schools after I use up my days... and I hope I find some great kids in Mustang!
