THE RESOURCE BANK

 We spend a lot of time talking about building a bank account, but there’s another kind of bank you should be building your entire life.

Your Resource Bank.

The people you know. The relationships you’ve built. Your reputation. Your skills. Your knowledge. Your work history. And probably most importantly—your integrity.

Every time you show up when you said you would, help somebody without expecting something back, do a job well, keep your word, learn something new, or leave a situation without burning the bridge behind you, you’re making a deposit.

And every time you screw somebody over, lie, use people, quit without notice, don’t keep your word, or only call when you need something, you’re making a withdrawal.

Eventually those things add up.

This series is going to be about building resources BEFORE you need them—and being a resource for other people along the way.

Because someday life is going to throw something at you that you don’t know how to handle.

You don’t have to know everything.
