My bedroom looks like a time capsule right now. 😂 Walk through the rest of my house and you’ll see empty rooms, blank walls and a random piece of furniture here and there. It definitely doesn’t look like home anymore.
Then you walk into my bedroom. Everything is still on the walls. The bed is made. The TV is on. The dog is in his corner. It looks like we aren’t moving at all.
My bedroom is always the last room I take down and the first room I put back together when we move.
That’s my moving advice: always have ONE room completely finished by the end of the first day. Because when you’re exhausted and surrounded by boxes, you need somewhere to go, shut the door and feel like you’re home.
The rest of the house can be chaos. I just need one room that isn’t.
