Covid vaccine

Several months ago I signed up on this portal through the health department to get a covid vaccine.  I also signed up Dennis at the same time.  Somehow I got phase 2 and he was in phase 3.  I thought that was weird since I pretty much answered the questions all the same, but I went on about my business and waited for an email.  

My sister, Gayla told me that I can re-register him and see if it moves him up.  So I did and he was in phase 2 now.  It got an appointment but it was the day that Wakely was coming to visit.  I didn't realize how this system worked.  You basically agree to any appointment they give you or you lose the chance to get it. But couldn't get Dennis one.  It was stressing me out.  I kept trying for hours and even at 2 a.m.  The day I was getting my shot I got on the computer as a whim and got him an appointment at the same place 30 minutes apart.  That was crazy!  

When we went it was well organized and they allowed us to get it at the same time.  We did great with only having one side effect.  Our arms hurt.  like.... seriously sore! We go back on March 27th and I am hoping we do as well with that shot too.  

Snowmageddon2021

This man!!!!!  One of my pet peeves is leaving a cabinet door open.. 

So earlier I scared him in the hall on purpose and he jumped like a foot in the air gave me stink eye the whole time I laughed about it...  and I laughed for a solid 10 minutes!  Then the rest of the day he was trying to find ways to aggravate me.  He succeeded!  

We need to get to back to work! 😜

25 Years Together

It's been a minute since Dennis and I got married.  25 years is a great achievement no matter how you look at it.  

I came home to flowers and a beautiful frame.  Its' been along time since I got flowers.  I love to get flowers and plants... I'm such a girl.  I have been showering him all week with gifts.  Small little nothings really,  Things that took some time and preparation...   just reminders every day for the last 7 days how much I love him.  I will give him his actual gift on the 14th  He probably won't like it... but years from now he might appreciate it, or at least the meaning behind it.

Today Katie is coming over to help make a mold for our hands. I have been very excited about this project and hope it turns out good, if not I will have a big blob on my fireplace for years.  No pressure!

February fun weather

Can you believe this forecast!?  It is really cold and I LOVE IT!  I enjoy being sequestered in the house and not having to come up with an excuse why I can't leave.  The entire Covid pandemic has given me he same liberation to be able o not apologize for not going anywhere or doing something.  I literally LOVE staying home!  Maybe once I quit working I will want to venture out more... but I don't see that happening. 

It's not been this cold that I can remember ever.  Record lows from what I hear.  As long as we keep electricity and I have food.... I am good!

Grandbaby #9 on the way....

Tanner face timed me today while I was making dinner.  I should have known something was up because that boy never face times me. I see his whole little family sitting there and smiling at me.  We talk a minute about the fact that I'm making enchiladas and the kids see Pop and and tell him hello... Sammi tells me she loves me and then goodbye. lol  I thought that was it but then she says.  "I'm going to be a big sister again!"  I was so excited!  Then Danny says:  I'm going to be a big brother... (But in Danny talk).  

She knew since Monday and didn't say anything!  I can't wait until I have a big secret and I don't tell her for 5 days!

 One of my daycare parents brought this in for me today.  I literally don't want to eat it!  It's so pretty!  But I will make the sacrifice … after I take lots of pictures of it. 

 Well this years birthday was different.  WE didn't get the whole family together to have a joint celebration.  It wasn't as much fun, but we will do a make up this summer when the pool is open and we will for the first time celebrate our birthdays doing a pool party!
