Introducing my Writing Hut!

I recreated a space that I was not using.  I had a craft room built into our new home so I had a place to start projects and leave them out if I wasn't done with them yet, but I never used it.  I use to really like creating photo books.  Scrapbooking was fun and I did a lot of them.  I love pictures so it's nice that I have them displayed in a way that is unique for the most of my kids lives.  But I got caught up and then lost interest.  I now just make a yearbook type from my favorite photos throughout the year.  

So I clean out all the stuff I wouldn't use.  It was hard cause I got rid of stuff my mother gave me.  But I simply wasn't using it.  I kept … I plan on making greeting cards and I still have some photo books to add to.  But what I have always enjoyed was writing.

So I had my carpenter Brandon come in and tear out shelves and add drawers.  I repainted it, put my Alexa in, brought in writing tools and a computer.... I added a little bit a décor and I am spending time in here every night.   Dennis probably hates it, but I look forward to spending time in my hut!

All it needs is a sign... and Katie is going to make me one!  So excited!

A Love/Hate Relationship with Writting

So I have been busy writing a 3rd book in my Southampton Series books.  I have been editing one, while writing another one.  I have also been writing a book for my kids for Christmas this coming year.  It has left me very little time, energy or ideas one what to blog about.  But I am working at the computer non stop it seems!  Why I feel the need to write and get words on paper is strange to me.  But I am just following my whims.  I have written all my life though.... I have a diary from when I was 15, then 19, then several things here and there over the years.  I have blogged for year!  Probably a decade or more.  I have written three books to date and have plans for at least 3 more that have been started.  I have a love hate relationship with it.  I want it done now and have to remind myself I am not in a hurry! lol  This is strictly for fun.  Now say that over and over until you believe it! 

I'm proud of us!

BOOM!  Dennis and I got our 2nd Covid Vaccine today.  I am happy we are both doing what we can to help stop this horrible virus.  My arm hurts like a BITCH... but it's a small price to pay if it keeps us from spreading this thing.  I have said it more then once.  If you're not part of the solution, your part of the problem.
