Is it in Chicago?  Denver?  New Orleans? TV shows, as well as movies, gives us this false impression of what the REAL WORLD is suppose to be like.  I think from birth we are delusional about our matter of importance and the role we play.  Of course as infants and toddlers, our world is much smaller and we have a much bigger role... we are young, helpless and needy and therefore our needs are seen to.  As we get older and stretch on into the youth stage, our situation doesn't change too much, we still depend on others to take care of us... It isn't in wonder then when the real world happens at age 18 ... we are in a state of a culture shock.  Graduation happens all along the Nation, and young adults are expected to contribute to the work world.  No more summer breaks, or Christmas breaks. No more playing hooky, or exempting out of test.  So many allowances are always made by people these days and they seem to think the world still revolves around them. It makes me wonder if they are ready.
